LAST SERVICE DONE JULY. VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR AGE. Lots of work done recently including receipts for new clutch and flywheel. Had rrand New Gearbox fitted in July costing £1200 which includes 12mth unlimited mileage warranty. Very common problem on these astra Search M32 gearbox on google. 4 New Tyres, Trackrod Ends, Bottom Arms, Drop Links ALL replaced at last MOT. Full service and MOT. Car is in very good condition for age. Has rare Factory optional extra including; Panoramic Roof and parking Sensors. Full factory XP kit. Car has two main issues 1) During last service mechanic did point out the car is likely to need a new inlet manifold as some point because the swirl flap rod seems to be sticking. This is again a common problem on there 1.9 CDTI engines. search Swirl flap astra diesel on google for more infomation. Was quoted £450 to have this done as although the part is cheap its a 5 hour job. I could not afford to get this done so did not bother. Car has been running fine since however its something to bare in mind. If you know a mechanic friend or are a mechanic then you can save yourself alot of money. 2) only other issue is the alloy wheels could do with a refurb. Given the possible inlet manifold needing replacing at some point I have reduced the price accordingly. Was hoping to get £2800 originally for the car but have reduced the price by £450 to cover the costs of the replacement as i just dont have the funds to do it myself. This is a rare car with this spec and pan roof as well. Given that one of the major common issues has already been sorted in the gearbox and it has a new clutch and flywheel.
